Walt Rubin, had a dream to provide Volusia County with an Animal Disaster Response Unit in time of a disaster for all of Volusia County and surrounding counties as well. We will be working with Volusia County Animal Control in time of need.
WeCare Animal Disaster Response Unit, is sponsored by WeCare Rottweiler Rescue, Inc., The bus is being totally renovated into a hospital on wheels during a disaster. A deep compassion for helping animals and helping all of Volusia County and surrounding counties.
The Disaster Response Unit will aid in time of a disaster. We will also provide food for the animals in need in disaster areas as well as medical attention.
